How do you encourage yourself? We all want to prolong our time and do most of the things we love to do but sometimes we get stuck in the process of ‘getting ready’.
We want to live each day with a clear purpose in mind to reach our goals and live a happy, productive life. We want to be better every day but we never jump.
The most powerful form of motivation comes from self-motivation. You can light your fire.
It is not enough to wait for inspiration to start moving forward. It doesn’t have to be something that happens to you, it can be something you create.
All progress and motivation starts with taking action. One action will lead to another. Action will create better results and new experiences.
When my training clients suffer from anxiety, I simply get them to start taking action. Dismissal. Doing something specific.
This may arise early, or you may commit to exercising daily. Even if it does something for just 5 minutes, it is usually just enough pressure to keep them going.
If you focus on a small number of things to create the change you want, it can have a huge impact on your business and your health.
Here are 11 things you can do right now to take that jump and increase brain power, memory and motivation.
- Simplify Your Life
By planning your life wisely, it allows you to make it easier. Giving and removing activities that do not encourage or excite you ensures that you use your time and focus on your strengths in achieving your goals.
It’s really hard to stay motivated when your mind is confused and full of all the tasks and tasks you need to do. But if you can make it easier, if you can draw the unnecessary, your life will be more focused. And too much focus leads to more motivation.
What aspects of your life can you simplify?
One way you can do this is to combine tasks. Think of two things you want to do and see how you can combine them into one activity.
Author Marilyn Vos Savant takes this one step further in her book Brain Building in just 12 weeks.
In fact, it combines many small tasks into one unit and completes one. So instead of doing one job for one day and another for another day, it becomes a blitz that focuses on getting the little things done all together.
This gives us more time and gives us a sense of accomplishment, which in turn increases motivation.
- Focus on How Far
One of the things that keeps us from getting discouraged and creating setbacks is that your success rate does not measure how far we have come, but how far we have come from our dreams and ideas.
If we can change our mind and become more aware of how our brain works, we can set ourselves up for success.
We are very happy when we use our brain to solve a problem, visualize, achieve and measure our progress.
When you talk in more detail than usual, there is a chance to feel happier and more powerful.
One way to do this is to start training your brain to measure details, which makes your emotions more real and increases motivation.
Instead of focusing on your accomplishments, focus on what you accomplished from the beginning.
If your goal is to lose 14 lbs in the next six months and lose 3 lbs in the first 3 months you have two options. You can focus on the fact that you are still 11lbs away from your goal or you can focus on losing 3lbs since you started.
The second option will allow you to celebrate success and build motivation and regain your focus on losing weight while the first option can focus your mind on how far away you are from your goals.
Let your brain have your goals and have your own experience.
- Set Realistic Goals
This follows well from the previous point. When I work with training clients we always set specific, measurable 90-day goals.
This is good for motivating and training the brain to focus only on specific and measurable things.
When we make real progress in our goals, we are happier. We are encouraged and encouraged.
We all see where we are right now. The past is gone and the future is right, the future.
In the present moment, we feel that we are making progress, moving forward in the right direction or not. We can’t stop time. We can make the best use of our time.
If you are not happy with the progress you are making, you can start comparing yourself to others which can make you feel worse and stop encouraging them in their ways.
Therefore, think about what goals you want to achieve within the next 90 days. Ask yourself what the meaning / purpose behind these goals is.
Write down the intentions. Set specific goals for each goal, and imagine what achieving the goals will mean for you in the long run.
- Shift Your Motivation from Starting Offering
Some people focus only on what they can get out of life and relationships. It’s all about me, me, me.
“If you change your mind; the things you watch change. ”- Wayne Dyer
However, if you come from a place of service and help, and are more alert in the world around you, your mind can change from receiving to giving only.
And when you create this change, it comes from a donation space, your brain begins to come up with many creative ways to distribute more masses.
It is very satisfying to focus on giving. If you focus on this, it can be a real goal and focused on you.
Instead of focusing on simple transactions, you focus on deepening relationships and doing things that will make people truly happy.
When you focus on giving and thanking and around like-minded people your motivation will remain high.
There are other benefits too. When providers meet the results can be much greater than the individual level as everything has the potential to replicate.
When your motivation is to give your brain it will think of many creative ways to do that. Random thoughts will get into your head and you will find many creative ways to improve other people in both your business and personal life.
- Create and Repeat a New Habit
Sometimes, small shifts produce very large results. When you start a new habit, whether it’s going to the gym, creating videos or improving your speech key is consistency and repetition.
By doing something new over and over again, your brain incorporates new techniques that help you create more improvements.
If you want to start a new morning routine, key to repeat. If you want to start meditating, key to staying with it. If you are preparing to use 5k, key to daily use and build that strength and durability.
If you have a vision as a person who does not complete projects, then you think of yourself as that person. But if you tell yourself every day that you are a ‘project collector,’ you will start to think and act like that person.
If you are postponing a major project, just start small and do something to move it forward, even if only for five minutes. The next day work on that project again.
The key is to decide what you want to improve and then work on that thing every day. A 1% improvement every day can produce great results in the end.
- Guide Your Sensitive Mind Before Bedtime
Many successful people do not sleep without a request in their unconscious mind.
“Never go to bed without first asking for something you don’t know.” – Thomas Edison
Your brain is an excellent problem-solving tool. If there are decisions you are struggling with or a project you want answers to, just spend a few minutes before bed to see the challenges, ideas, questions and experiences.
You can follow the same procedure for your goals. Visualize your goals each night, and visualize your progress.
Your unconscious mind will then work, creating different connections and ideas. When you wake up, write down everything that comes to mind and make things happen.
- Focus on your position
The people you spend time with will change your life in some way. Surround yourself with people and things that support you in your business and in your life.
Cynics can pull you down too but the people who support you will motivate you to be happier and more successful.
Every day, we have choices to make about how we spend our time and with whom we spend our time.
You can have people push you and lower your power, or you can have people who promote your creativity and celebrate your success.
Spend a lot of time with people who make you feel alive and happy and see where that takes you.
- Express More Gratitude
If you come from a place of gratitude for both what you have and for the people around you, the change can be huge.
When you show appreciation for what you have, you are not jealous and focus on what other people have.
When you show gratitude to people who are important in your life, it changes the way you see them and how they feel about you.
Gratitude increases your power and your sense of humor. Thankfully, everything is appreciated.
Gratitude makes you more creative and deepens your motivation. Handwritten notes, emotional notes, instant notes or more important personal calls become commonplace.
The thing thankfully, though, is that it requires active pursuit of all aspects of your business and your life. It’s not what that person did. It is about how you feel about them, and how important they are to you.
Here’s a quick exercise:
Think about the people who matter most to you.
Next, write down 5 things you are grateful for, or are thankful for, about that person.
You can tell them 5 things or just keep them to yourself and see how you feel with that person the next time you meet.
Another important focus is to thank yourself. What are you grateful for today?
Giving yourself time to look inside and appreciate your own energy and enthusiasm also makes you very happy.
- Increase Your Strength
Power is a major motivator. When we are upset or happy about someone or something, we are often encouraged.
Think about your last moment and find something worthwhile. I think your strengths and motivations were high?
If you hit your best time on the track, or lose the weight you want, or win a great piece of business, your energy will be high and you will want to come back again to improve your previous performance.
When we are happy and motivated by what we do, we bring high levels of energy.
If you can spend a lot of time doing exciting and exciting things, what can that mean for your business and your life?
High levels of energy produce continuous growth and give you high levels of confidence.
Choose three things that give you high levels of excitement and motivation. Commit to spending at least one hour more on each item each month.
See what you can achieve. When it comes to the results you want, aim to spend more time on those 3 items and remove the 3 things you want to spend less time on.
- See Your Future A Bright Future
If your motive is not there, try to focus on what you are doing or how it is playing into the larger goal of what you want to achieve.
Another great way to increase your brain power and motivation is to start thinking big and challenge yourself to think more and more about your vision for your bright future.
Where would you like to be in 3 or 5 years? What is your main goal in your business and in your life? What must you do to enjoy your advancement?
Seeing and focusing on your big vision gives you a sense of accomplishment of something bigger and of being a part of something bigger than you. It gives meaning and purpose to your daily life.
If you put long hours into something or sacrifice too much to accomplish something, it will help to put things in perspective and ensure your motivation stays strong.
You want to start over with your life and live your future, but you don’t really want to give up what you have now?
- Take Multiple Actions
If you are reluctant to take on a big project for a while, be it at home or at work, everything else in your life can start to suffer.
Sometimes, you just have to face up to your fears and do what you used to avoid. That one thing, can make a real difference in your life.
We all have a lot to do and sometimes it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the tasks we are facing.
Kay is a priority so we make the best use of our time and commit ourselves inside to get started.
One of my clients was very close to completing new online courses but there were some things she avoided and put off. It was very easy for him to fill his time with communication updates, new shiny things and to look at what his competitors were doing to avoid taking action. He knew that he was missing out on something that was most important to him and that he was putting his own interests first.
I made him concentrate for half an hour at the beginning of each day of the week in this activity. That moment increased as his joy and enthusiasm grew.
She felt very happy and encouraged by starting over and doing the work. This newly acquired power also influenced other aspects of his life.
He felt more responsible and knew that he would succeed. Just by taking one step and getting started.
