Letting go of the Past is the key to coming out of life

Let me ask you a question: How successful do you think you will be in driving while looking in the rearview mirror? If you are honest, your answer is very likely, no. No one could.

That is to try to build the future you desire while living and the past. Trying to complete the feat is almost impossible. Marianne Williamson is famous for saying, “we don’t cure the past by staying there. We heal the past by living a full life in the present. ”

Wrapped in those powerful words is the great fact that we cannot change the past. No matter how much we scratch, scratch, or complain, there is no change. All we can do is focus on the present and build on the future.

Of course, you cannot begin to build the desired future if your hands are full of burdens from the past. You have to let go of the past to free yourself to build your future. Anger keeps you clinging to the past and the vicious cycle of remembering the wrong done to you. He is chained there. To move forward, you need to break free from such degrading practices. When you do, you free yourself.

I like the way Lewis Smedes described it when he said, “forgive the release of a prisoner and find out that the prisoner was you.” You deserve the ability to create the life you want. So keep separating yourself from your self-sacrifice by letting go of any wrong that has happened to you.

    I come from nothing, so I was made for nothing. My parent’s relationship broke up, so finding true love can be a real challenge. Only lucky people are rich.

What do all these statements have in common? If you guessed it all, it would be a disservice to the beliefs that people experience every day, you would be right. One of the main reasons people fight so hard to break through and build the life they want is that they are held back by reducing beliefs from the past.

The saddest thing is that most of those beliefs are given to them without their voice. They were like a terrible gift that could not be taken away.

What I mean by that, is that most of the stories we grow up believing about ourselves and life in general are centered on us before the age of seven, which is when our cognitive mind comes online. Before that, it was like a sponge, absorbing everything we get into our world.

Our view of what is true is made without any bias against us. So if you grew up in a poor family, where money was talked about as something very serious or something that could ruin people, then you may have grown up with many similar beliefs. Similarly, if you grew up with an abusive parent, you may have grown up with some very different beliefs about how to have a happy and healthy relationship.

That is the negative side of life, that many children with disabilities are changing their beliefs without even choosing whether they want it or not. They are like an elephant that has grown up attached to a rope.

At first, the elephant struggled to break the rope and run away, but he could not. But after failing long enough, the elephant finally gave up trying to break it. That’s how you end up with a full-grown elephant attached to a small pole on the ground, without even trying to break it. Limited stories of youthful elephant experiences often create and reduce life expectancy.

The good news is, as adults who have the ability to choose what we hold on to, we must decide whether we want to hold on to those beliefs as well. If you really want to go through this and get it right, you have to be willing to go the extra mile.

  1. Release your victim’s mind
    The last thing you need to do is step back from the past and build on your future. To bring back the last point about limiting beliefs, many people are set to believe that they are the victims of life. That life happens to them, and they just can’t get a break.

The problem is, when a person has a victim’s mind, he or she gives up his or her energy to create the life he or she wants. They say that they do not have the strength to achieve their goals or the results they want in life. If you do not have a voice in this evil life for you, why not have a voice in changing it and making it better?

No one has ever created anything good in his life to do so with the mind of the victim. The victims throw their hands up and give in when things get tough. That is, when they first start.

Those who succeed, on the other hand, take a hundred percent responsibility for their lives, and believe that they have the power to create whatever they want.

Like your confusing beliefs, it is possible that your victim’s mind was given to you. You learned it from close friends when you were young. However, as a bad gift, you can choose to throw it away whenever you want. And you will need it if you want to break through your life.
