Women What You Need To Pursue Your Dreams Despite Fear

You always hear it…. you have to follow your dreams. They make it sound so easy, but if it were easy, everyone would do it. Right? But have you ever thought about what could happen to you if you blocked those feelings that you once understood? If you try to ignore those feelings by telling yourself that it’s not the right time, you don’t have time for that, or any other reason?

I never thought of myself as someone who would hold back from trying new things, but I did, and it worked out. Little did I realize that the way I was trying to escape my emotions led me to feel bad because I was depriving myself of the joy of pursuing my dreams, which in turn led to me overeating and overuse in an effort to make me feel better. It’s a cycle I’ve fallen into without really thinking about it, and I’m overreacting and overuse in an effort to feel good about myself.

Humans are complex, and our emotions are deeply entrenched. But if you have a deep-seated inner self that keeps you from trying something new and following a new path, don’t you owe it to yourself to explore it?

Personally, I had a deep feeling of sowing that spoke to me for about 10 years. I wanted to start my own business, but I was too scared to leave my comfort zone and put myself there. I overcame those feelings by eating too much and spending too much. However, no matter how much I eat or spend, the feeling always comes back to me. I fought it for a while.

Then at Christmas 2018, my husband suffered a heart attack at the age of 46. Thankfully you survived, but those kinds of events kick you in the face and wake you up. At that point I knew I had things I wanted to change in my life, and I started working with a health coach, wanting to find a way to cure the bad habits I had developed through diet and spending.

Thank you so much for finding my health coach and working with him. It has helped me to put myself first, overcome my fears, and live my life. In a few months of working with him I was finally able to start my own business, and I have never been this happy.

What I have learned with my coach is a lesson that applies to many of us. I would like to share these lessons with you.

Why do you choose not to follow our wishes:

You let fear hold you back – It’s so easy to sit back and relax. But if you live in your own comfort zone stop being careless, never challenge yourself, and miss out on the opportunity to learn and grow.

Women put each other’s needs first – You may have children or other family members to care for, so if you could do something for them when they need you most right now, you may feel very guilty.

Looking for the “right time” – If you are waiting for the right time to pursue your dreams, it’s a good time now. We will never have a better time again, because when you feel the pull of your dreams, it means you have to pay attention.

You care so much about what others will think – The idea of putting yourself there and letting other people judge you may seem overwhelming, but have you ever thought that their opinions don’t matter?

Fear of failure and fear of success – Fear of failure is a common fear, but failure allows you to try again in another way. Failure is part of the process.

The least tested is the fear of success, which is also true. And these are emotions that you should explore because often those feelings are attached to not feeling worthwhile.

Today I wake up every morning happy to serve my customers. I feel so strong and loving about life, gratitude, and I’ve even lost 20 pounds of that!

I hope the catch on this story is that when your stomach tells you something, it warns you for some reason. There are consequences to ignoring these bowel movements. My hope for you is that if you are sitting in a dream, that today is the day for you to take action. Start with one step, that is often very difficult, and continue until you find your energy, and joy! Life is too short to catch up.
